The Maestro

Steve Gold and Maestro David P. KyleMaestro David Paul Kyle was a voice and metaphysics teacher who lived in Seattle, WA. David P. Kyle had mastered seven instruments by the age of 20, and was given his title of Maestro by the renowned conductor Arthur Fiedler from the Boston symphony orchestra. During his early career he shared an office with Irving Berlin at Carnegie Hall. The Maestro taught voice for 25 years at his studio in Carnegie Hall in New York, conducted the San Francisco symphony orchestra for four years, and taught voice for 30 years in Seattle. He trained some of the most famous stars in show business history. Imagine the walls of his West Seattle studio hidden under a vast collection of framed and autographed photos: Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Mae West, John Wayne, Judy Garland, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Kenny G, Geoff Tate, Layne Staley... Steve had the honor to study with the Maestro for four years before the Maestro passed away in 2004 at the age of 87. He lives on through the great voices he trained, and a legacy of life changing principles he enthusiastically shared with his students. Positive words of wisdom and loving encouragement poured from his soul. He was Wonderful!!

The 2008 CD "So Much Magnificence" is a lush mix of acoustic songs and chants ideal for yoga or relaxation. The music is infused with spirit, beautiful melodies and heart melting harmonies. The title track of the same name is included on Shiva Rea's new CD compilation "Yoga Sol", and instructional DVD "Surf Yoga Soul.” Says Shiva Rea:

“I have witnessed rivers of tears flow from people listening to Steve Gold's version of this incredible praise of the ocean."

In 2009, Shiva Rea commissioned them to remix a song on their album to be used on her new online video trailer “Pranafication.”  Released in 2009, their new and inspiring digital EP, Let Your Heart Be Known is a compelling call to live life with authenticity. It contains the sensual remix of Let Your Heart Be Known, and Purna, an uplifting rendition of the Vedic mantra invoking infinite pureness.
